  • Summary: Dallas Louis’ mission is to inspire mothers and embrace the role of a traditional mother while showcasing her writing and speaking skills

Houston, TX. – Dallas Louis, author and mommy blogger at www.DallasLouis.com, is touting the possibilities of a stay-at-home mom while also embracing the role that revolves around children and family.

Topics on her blog range from cooking to family visits, children’s adventures and much more.

Louis is passionate when it comes to raising children in a nurturing environment and talks about it in her latest Broken Crayons (book/writing) project.  Broken Crayons Still Color is Louis’ thoughts on rebuilding not only your life, but your children’s life after divorce. The theory is that broken crayons still work and can be melted together for a new beginning. It also discusses how positive influences shaped and molded her when her parents were breaking apart their family.

Louis’ latest endeavor is her new Middle Grade novel, Connor Blackstone and the Old Oak. This is the tale of Connor Blackstone, a 15-year-old high school freshman who, while mourning the loss of his father gets transported from our time back to 1775 Boston.  Connor Blackstone and the Old Oak is the first book in the Connor series of three.
